Terms of Service

ReCrafted is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of paper crafting and maker supplies.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, truthful, and comply with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

Listings should include clear photos and honest descriptions of the item being offered.

Sellers must:

• Only list products they own or otherwise have the legal right to sell
• Accurately describe the condition of an item and disclose defects, damage, or missing pieces
• Use the shared product catalogue when listing an official manufacturer product
• List seller-created bundles under the Bundles category rather than adding them to the shared product catalogue

Genuine branded products may be listed. Generic or unbranded items should be listed under "Unknown Brand", and "Mixed Brands" may be used for bundles containing items from multiple manufacturers.

ReCrafted reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice.

Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for their interactions, transactions, shipping arrangements, and any in-person meetings. ReCrafted does not supervise, verify, or participate in these interactions and is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, fraud, or dispute arising from communications or transactions between users, whether online or offline.

Transactions take place directly between buyers and sellers.

Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging payment, shipping, in-person exchanges, and resolving any disputes between themselves.

ReCrafted:

• Does not process payments
• Does not hold funds
• Does not provide escrow services
• Is not a party to transactions between users

Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging shipping or local pickup directly with one another.

ReCrafted does not currently provide shipping services or shipping labels.

Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging payment, shipping, and resolving any issues related to their transactions.

ReCrafted is not a party to these transactions and is not responsible for disputes between users.

Please exercise caution when communicating with other users. Never share sensitive personal or financial details, and be wary of unusual payment requests.

For local exchanges, we recommend meeting in a well-lit public place and bringing someone with you when possible.

ReCrafted does not monitor and is not responsible for off-platform communications or in-person meetings between users.

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Communicate respectfully
• Follow all applicable laws
• Comply with these Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines

Buyers and sellers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, taxes, and postal or shipping regulations related to their transactions.

Users may not:

• Sell illegal or prohibited items
• List counterfeit or stolen goods
• Misrepresent products
• Infringe another person's intellectual property rights
• Upload harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of ReCrafted

Users retain ownership of the content they upload.

You should only upload photos you own or have permission to use, and preferably photos of the actual item being sold.

By posting content on ReCrafted, you grant ReCrafted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, host, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the marketplace.

Counterfeit items, unauthorised copies, and any product that infringes another party's intellectual property rights are prohibited.

Product names, trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners and appear on ReCrafted only to identify authentic products listed by sellers. ReCrafted is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these companies unless explicitly stated.

ReCrafted may remove listings or user content that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines at any time.

ReCrafted is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReCrafted makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding listings, users, product authenticity or condition, or the outcome of any transaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReCrafted and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Transactions between users
• Inaccurate or misleading listings
• Payment issues
• Shipping delays or losses
• Damage to items during shipping
• Service interruptions
• Unauthorised access to user accounts
• Reliance on information provided by other users

Your use of ReCrafted is at your own risk.

Where liability cannot be excluded, ReCrafted's total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

ReCrafted reserves the right to remove listings, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other appropriate action if these Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines are violated. This may occur with or without prior notice.

We may also suspend accounts or restrict access in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, spam, or illegal activity, and we may modify or discontinue features of ReCrafted at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to permanently ban any user we determine, at our sole discretion, to be acting maliciously — including fraud, scams, counterfeit goods, repeated policy violations, harassment, or abuse of the platform — and to permanently delete all of their listings, photos, and other content without notice, warning, refund, or any obligation to explain our decision. Permanently banned users may not create new listings or new accounts on ReCrafted.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of ReCrafted after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
